Dan is the founder of Sasha’s Pet Resort, which is named after his first German Shepherd, Sasha, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2018.  For the past 15 years he has been instrumental in the development of MicrocynAH®, an amazing antimicrobial for treatment of hot spots, infections, abrasions in all animals including dogs.  This is now a leading product that can be found in all Tractor Supply and PetSmart stores.  In addition to the family’s K9s who romp about the McPonderosa (a six-acre retreat up on Union Hill), Dan is also a squirrel whisperer, having saved a number of the grays that have fallen from their nests.

Dan is also a loving father/husband, novelist, pilot, bicyclist and entrepreneur.
